Nando's Restaurant - Restaurant Fit Out - Dubai, UAE

Project overview

Wall to Wall Interiors and Contracting LLC delivered the F&B Nando's Restaurant Fit Out in Dubai, a project that called for a bold, characterful design capable of standing out in a busy retail environment while staying true to a globally recognised casual dining brand. Nando's has a strong visual identity built around vibrant colour, texture, and personality, and translating that into a physical space required more than following a brand manual, it required a team that understands how to execute distinctive design details without losing sight of everyday restaurant functionality. As an established interior fit out company in Dubai, we managed this restaurant fit out from concept through to final handover with that balance firmly in mind.

The entrance and feature wall set the tone for the entire space. A striking terracotta and cream checkerboard tile pattern wraps around one full wall, immediately giving the restaurant a warm, energetic character the moment guests walk in. This kind of detailed tile work requires precise setting out and skilled installation to keep the pattern consistent across an uneven wall run, and it reflects the level of finishing quality we bring as an interior fit out contractor in Dubai on brand-driven hospitality projects. Curated artwork panels featuring bold, colourful illustrations line the darker feature wall beside it, giving the dining area a gallery-like feel that adds personality without cluttering the space.

Lighting plays one of the most important roles in this restaurant fit out in Dubai. A cluster of woven rattan pendant lights hangs above the central dining zone at varying heights, creating a warm, golden glow that softens the industrial ceiling above while adding visual texture to the space. Exposed ceiling elements, including painted ductwork in a matching terracotta tone, were left visible as part of the design language rather than concealed, a technique we often use in restaurant fit outs to add character while keeping construction costs and ceiling heights practical. This required close coordination with MEP contractors in Dubai to ensure the exposed services still met ventilation and fire safety requirements without disrupting the visual flow of the lighting design.

The joinery throughout the restaurant carries the same attention to detail seen in the tilework. A custom credenza unit finished in a dark chevron pattern sits near the entrance, doubling as both a display piece and functional storage for front-of-house operations. Dining tables in warm oak tones are paired with a mix of upholstered chairs and wooden seating, giving the layout visual variety while keeping the overall material palette cohesive. Every custom piece, from the credenza to the wall panelling near the service counter, was built and installed by our in-house carpentry team, a standard of craftsmanship expected from any reliable joinery company in Dubai working on hospitality interiors.

Flooring was treated as another opportunity to reinforce the brand's playful identity. A geometric terrazzo-style pattern in grey and white runs across the dining floor, adding visual interest underfoot without competing with the busy tile wall or the layered pendant lighting above. This kind of flooring also holds up well under the heavy daily foot traffic typical of a casual dining restaurant, an important practical consideration in any commercial fit out where durability has to match aesthetic ambition.

Seating zones were arranged to accommodate both quick casual visits and longer group dining sessions. Booth-style seating with a mix of fabric and leather finishes lines one side of the restaurant, while freestanding tables in the centre offer flexibility for the front-of-house team to adjust seating configurations based on group size and time of day. Menu holders and table accessories were factored into the design early on, ensuring the finished space felt fully operational rather than just visually complete on handover day.

Behind the vibrant finishes, this project involved the same level of technical planning required on any commercial fit out in a busy retail environment. Structural clearances, fire exit signage, and ventilation routes all had to work within the existing building shell while still allowing the design team the freedom to create a distinctive, brand-accurate space. Coordinating these requirements early in the process meant the design intent never had to be compromised once construction began on site.

The completed F&B Nando's Restaurant Fit Out reflects what is possible when bold brand identity is paired with disciplined technical execution. Every phase, from tile setting and custom joinery to lighting installation and MEP coordination, was managed by our team to deliver a space that feels authentic to the Nando's brand while performing reliably as a working restaurant. For F&B operators looking among fit out companies in Dubai for a partner capable of translating strong brand identities into functional, high-quality physical spaces, this project reflects the standard of work you can expect when you choose to build with us.
